SoHo & West Village Couple’s Session | Pam + Sam

This SoHo & West Village couple’s session turned out soooooo good. This day was the epitome of an intimate, moody NYC couple’s session. Complete with a coffee shop stop, an underground staircase, and of course, pizza by the slice.

Our first stop (and first photo op) was the Fanelli Cafe. Between sips of latte, Pam and Sam shared quiet laughs and some side walk cuddles in the midst of the bustling NYC streets. We then continued on and found the perfect quiet staircase leading to the Subway, with a hidden corner that had the coolest light. The colors from this part of the session turned into some of my favorite photos from the entire day.

In West Village, we wandered down the narrow streets, the kind that sort of feel tucked away from the rush of the city. Ivy-covered brownstones lined the path, and the golden hour light started peeking through the trees. It was perfect! We couldn’t end an NYC couple’s session without pizza by the slice, so that’s exactly what we ended with. This was the best day, and Pam and Sam were honestly giving model status. I love how this session turned out and I hope you’ve enjoyed it too!

The most important thing to KC + Paul was to have their wedding in their backyard in Malibu. There was never a question of “where to get married” because they knew immediately this was going to become their venue. Photographing a backyard wedding in Malibu is one of the most wholesome things I’ve experienced- their […]
